Updated: Aug 15

Generosity for the Salvation Army

Open your heart to the virtue of generosity and experience the profound impact of giving. Generosity isn’t just about material offerings—it’s about sharing kindness, time, and empathy. Extend a helping hand, uplift those around you, and foster a sense of community. Let this journey be a celebration of the abundant power of generosity.

Repeat these 3 affirmations frequently this week:

·      I am generous with my time, energy, and resources.

·      I find joy in giving to others.

·      My generosity makes the world a better place.

Exercise: “Generosity Jar”

Objective: To cultivate and celebrate a spirit of generosity, using a tangible jar and affirmations to inspire and track acts of kindness.

Natural support: Turquoise supports generosity and open-mindedness. Lily symbolizes generosity and purity of heart.

Setup: Select a jar and label it "Generosity Jar."

Daily Kind Act: Each day, perform an act of generosity, whether it's donating, helping someone, or sharing resources.

Note of Generosity: Write down the act on a small piece of paper and place it in the jar.

Speak Affirmations Aloud: Connect with your inner being by putting one hand over your heart and one hand over your belly. Take a few deep breaths and feel how you say:

·       "I am generous with my time, energy, and resources."

·       "I find joy in giving to others."

·       "My generosity makes the world a better place."

Reflect: Observe the growing notes in the jar, recognizing the cumulative impact of your kind acts.

Visualization: Close your eyes and feel the warmth of gratitude from those you've touched with your generosity.

Closure: Place the jar in a visible spot, as a reminder of your ongoing commitment to giving and making a positive difference.
